Dibikin ngakak & geleng-geleng kagum sama iklan dari Thailand ini. Kalau liat beberapa detik awal, nggak nyangka bakal promosiin produk itu 😂
Kreativitasnya memang udah next level!
Princeton didn’t consider Anne Carson worthy of a recommendation for tenure, and she couldn’t continue teaching at McGill after its Department of Classics was shut down.
Now, everyone wants to claim her as their own …
Transcripts of the interviews between Title IX investigators and the accused members of Chi Phi fraternity reveal incoherent and often contradictory descriptions of the night in question. As an attorney, I’m astounded by the numbers of red flags here that were effectively ignored by campus police and the DA’s office. https://t.co/zpWxCYdDUP
1,200 sexual assault cases were filed at Cornell from 2018 to 2024. Most of those found responsible received minor sanctions that allowed them to remain on campus, such as probation or training. Only 7 ended in expulsion or dismissal.

On the *same day* the Cornell Seven drugged and raped Jane Doe, Cornell banned four students (including the President of Cornell @jvplive) from campus for three years for nonviolent, pro-Palestine protests. The same @Cornell officials let the rapists off with apology essays.
This was a difficult story to report. Some of these conversations stayed with me long after the interviews ended.
I spoke with these bright, ambitious women who came to Silicon Valley to pursue their dreams. They described being sexually harassed, assaulted or raped—often by someone they knew and trusted, someone they considered a friend.
What was especially painful to hear was what happened afterward. Some described being discouraged from going to the police. Others said they were told nobody would believe them. And someone was told that she was seeking attention and all was a lie. 🥲 Alongside the trauma came fears about losing friendships, careers and their place in a community they had hoped to belong to.
When the person you’re accusing has money, influence and powerful connections, seeking accountability can feel like David taking on Goliath.
Victims aren’t always women, although most of the accounts shared with me came from women. One woman’s point stayed with me: we need to confront the predatory mindset—the entitlement that allows someone to disregard another person’s boundaries.
Whisper networks can help people warn and protect one another. But they cannot substitute for a system people can trust: somewhere to turn for support, a fair process for investigating allegations, and meaningful accountability when misconduct is established—even when those responsible are wealthy or powerful.
To the women who shared their experiences with me: thank you. I know these are deeply personal and painful things to revisit. I appreciate your trust.
No single article can capture the full weight or complexity of someone’s experience. I take seriously the responsibility of telling these stories with care.
My hope is that bringing them into the light helps more people find support—and helps create a culture where pursuing your dreams doesn’t mean staying silent about harm.
If you ever unfortunately get into the situation of experiencing rape or sexual assault, please seek medical care and professional support, and consider reporting to the police when you feel safe and ready. You do not have to face this alone. What happened was not your fault, and you deserve care, support and to be heard.
I was deeply moved by the strength of the women I spoke with and their determination not to let what happened define their lives. They still have dreams to pursue, companies to build and so much ahead of them. They deserve every opportunity to shape that future. 🌷

AI doom is not a dumb concept, it's just of some unknown probability, unknown outcome, and unknown solution. Ignoring it may turn out fine, it may also end up like the movie Don't Look Up.. but to dismiss it like it is an entirely foolish concept is actually the foolish move. I do take note that the people who are most worried about it are the people who have been building it for the longest and actually have a much better view than everyone else on how powerful the frontier actually is (and were worried about this since before they were in any dominant position, so it's not just the self interest people are accusing them of)
Bryan Cranston says he still gets paid for two-second whistles and tiny bits of humming he did as Hal on Malcolm in the Middle.
“When I was on Malcolm in the Middle, my character used to hum and whistle a lot.”
Fox's music supervisor eventually called him and asked, “Are you a member of BMI or ASCAP?” Cranston replied, “No, why?”
The supervisor explained, “I need to write down every second of music on a show. Unless you're whistling and humming someone else's work?”
Cranston jokingly replied, “How dare you! Original!”
“To this day, I will get a check that said, ‘Hal humming, two seconds. Hal whistling, a second and a half.’”
He would cash the checks and buy drinks for the crew, who eventually began suggesting more scenes for Hal to whistle.
“Hey Bryan, it looks like a good opportunity for Hal to whistle on his way to the car.”
Cranston would reply, “You just want a drink, don’t you?”
