@LuvAgent99@NMowbray23 It will be completely autonomous in 2 or 3 years at most, and the price will go up, not down. Though booking an autonomous taxi will be very cheap. Probably half the price of an Uber
@emptywhitecloud@NMowbray23 I drove from Palmerston North to New Plymouth and back, in my Model Y L. When I got home, I plugged the car in. If I used my other car , then I would have had to stop and charge. Probably would have done that for 15 minutes in New Plymouth. Still not bad
@RobGrieves I have a 2023 Model Y that after 2yrs and 8months has done 182,000km and according to the battery health test that you can do (Controls/Service/Battery Health) it has a SOH of 91%. This vehicle has been religiously charged to 100% every night.
@jace_d@Tesla@Tesla_AI@TeslaAUNZ You are of course, correct about the profiles, I just haven't been caught behind someone doing 80 in a 100km zone. I have also done several thousand Kim's. Nearly 8,000km
@Zoe_922q Everything is fit for purpose. For spirited driving, and if there is only 1 or 2 of you, my Model 3 is great. For a large family my 2026 Model Y L is better than my 2025 Model Y. It drives better and handles better too. It won't tow a large boat. So get what suits your needs.
