Sometime tomorrow, the world outside of smoke-filled backrooms with the planet's most powerful elites will discover whether or not bitcoin is a captured project, wholly owned by a handful of mining conglomerates and their handlers.
No matter what is revealed to us as humble bitcoin owners, I'm proud to have fought alongside all of you. You are the real bitcoiners, no matter what anyone tells you. You are the people I hoped to find when I joined this thing not too long ago.
We're here to fix the money. That's the mission. That was always the mission. And if this mission fails, let it not be for lack of conviction and effort among us. And let us know just how tragic the outcome.
You learn something about who you are during times of struggle. What you stand for, and how you stand for it, define you as a person. Great stories are written about such people and such struggles. There are no great stories about those who hid behind a majority cabal, unable or unwilling to take a position based on their own internal compass, instead looking to the crowd to determine who they are and what they believe.
We know who we are. We know what we believe. Bitcoin is money. And we are the warriors freeing it from the state. Our long battle is almost over. May we retain our resolve for those yet to come.
Fiat is so catastrophically broken that grown adults are cramming shiny rocks into underground bunkers like medieval peasants hiding grain from the tax collector.
We live in the 21st century.
We can split atoms, edit genes, and launch cars into orbit.
Yet people are hoarding metal because they don't trust their government's paper.
That's a civilization-wide distress flare.
Silver belongs in solar panels and circuit boards, powering the energy transition and technological progress.
Gold belongs in electronics, automotive systems, and medical devices—improving human life.
Instead, they're sitting in dark vaults doing absolutely nothing.
Locked away as dead capital.
Hoarded by people who correctly diagnosed that fiat is a dumpster fire but reached for the Bronze Age solution instead of the digital one.
This hoarding distorts prices and chokes innovation.
It artificially inflates the cost of industrial inputs.
Progress literally slows down because we're using resources meant for production as a hedge against monetary collapse.
Industrial metals should be powering technology, not sitting in vaults as monetary theater.
Bitcoin was designed to be money.
Nothing else.
How long does this $25 Million need to sit here before you realize they never intended to cash out
It was to spread fear for the sake of spreading fear
Who might do such a thing

Bitcoin is not going to appreciate at all, if it doesn't become money. And if Bitcoiners refuse to use it as money, how can we expect other people to do so? That's how Bitcoin fails. I'm sympathetic to the tax concerns. But the state will keep stealing from us, until we take money out of its hands completely. Start trying to pay with BTC. If every Bitcoiner in the world orange-pilled just one merchant, we'd be at $1 million in an instant
The average person is not going to be an early adopter of a new form of money. Perpetual preferred equity issued by bitcoin treasury companies will prove to be bad investments. Just buy less bitcoin if you can't tolerate volatility. Use a custodian or an ETF.
I don't think you understand how this actually works, Michael.
If enough nodes signal for bip 110, it will activate. That is how a USAF works.
I believe we're at about 20% nodes supporting bip 110. That's about the tipping point. Plus it's still accelerating.
You basically don't have a say in this. So if anybody should stand by down, it's you, and you should get back into the books and find that 2020 Saylor that we all miss.
MSM reporting that BIP-110 is “called off”.
The source? @udiWertheimer
Remember, this is supposedly a nothingburger and they are not worried about it at all. That’s why Saylor and Andy posts hysterically about how bad and stupid it is.
And why MSM runs stories like this.
Such nothingburger..
Saylor couldn't find the time to comment on Bitcoin plebs getting destroyed by Coldcard, but he did have time to FUD a soft fork (which he says has no support) run by plebs. He apparently has zero understanding of where Bitcoin derives its properties like scarcity and censorship-resistance-- from pleb node runners all over the world
“The love of money is a root of all evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” 1 Timothy 6:10
The great issue of life is what we love.
Desire. Crave. Want. Enjoy. Delight in. Are satisfied by.
Those are the great battlefields.
If you use a Coldcard hardware wallet, please pay attention. If you know someone who uses one, call them. Text them.
This appears to be one of the most serious wallet security incidents Bitcoin has seen.
If you're affected, don't wait. If you need help, reach out.
This is one of the shittiest days in Bitcoin since I've been here.
I woke up to see the controversy and realized my Bitcoin might be gone this morning.
That sinking gut feeling.
Some plebs lost ALL their Bitcoin.
Gone.
@nvk and @COLDCARDX have broken all trust here. There is no recovery.
You have seen me on air toss a @Ledger in the garbage.
I feel the same about Coldcard now.
Garbage.
My heart goes out to everyone who lost their Bitcoin today.
