@Smith_JeffreyT Sorry Smith you are always wrong. You are just myopic. Because of your selfishness, you ignore the suffering of Congolese Tutsi and just peddle lies.
@Sentletse That is dehumanization and it's one of the stages of genocide. You are no different from the Interahamwe and FDLR that killed Rwandans until stopped by him.
I invite all the actors of the international community, to read & use in their advocacy for peace in the region, this well-documented report on the effects of institutional hate speech & on the ensuing most recent hate crimes against the Congolese Tutsi in DRC. ✍️@NARwanda.
@Cidiachissungo Hi Chissungo, I think you should start encouraging people to embrace the leadership of President Chapo. A lot of noise has been heard, but Chapo is your President. Give him a benefit of doubt and you will be fine.
@Cidiachissungo I think the reason why they are not coming is because of their security and safety. Over the last few weeks, some Mozambicans have behaved in a way that scares anyone.
You are just misguided, full of hatred and jealous. Sitting under a tree does not mean, it is a classroom. It is common for pupils to gather under a tree and play their chosen game. For you to claim it is a classroom, it shows how low you can go to undermine Rwanda.

- The second photo is of a very expensive
car, Kagame bought in 2024.
👉🏾What are your thoughts on that?
In my closing remarks at the 5th ministerial meeting under the #LuandaProcess, held in Angola on Saturday 12 octobre 2024, I laid down, on behalf of the government of Rwanda, three (3) key points that would be decisive in solving the conflict in eastern #DRCongo:
1️⃣ The #DRC, to take ownership of this crisis, stop scapegoating Rwanda in all official visits and international conferences, and find a lasting solution to the conflict. This should be done through a direct political dialogue with the #M23, addressing the root causes of the crisis, which include hate speech, historical marginalization, discrimination and persecution of the Congolese Tutsi;
2️⃣ The DRC, to neutralize, in good faith, the #FDLR génocidaires, who not only are embedded in the Congolese army, but are also spreading genocide ideology within the #FARDC coalition and in the whole region;
3️⃣ The African countries that provided troops to fight alongside the FARDC/FDLR coalition (#Burundi and #SAMIDRC contingents), as well as the European mercenaries, which were deployed in violation of the international law, to think twice about their presence in eastern DRC, which is fueling an already tense situation.
Should the DRC have the political will to take those important steps, this would significantly contribute to the resolution of the long-standing conflict in eastern DRC. And Rwanda is willing to support this process.
@KenRoth@PaulKagame Roth, for many years, you have consistently demonstrated your hate for President Kagame. What is an election in your view? How many choices do you want? There are 3 candidates and Rwandans are free to choose and they know what is good for them.
It is clear from the statements made by @fredbauma90 on the @AJInsideStory podcast, that his "research center" @ebuteli, is far from "independent" as he claims it to be, & as echoed by @AJEnglish.
Choosing partisanship over research integrity, Bauma singles out M23, when he is fully aware that all the studies evaluate M23 as the least violent armed group, & is therefore not the root cause of insecurity & violence in Congo.
Bauma indeed:
1) fails to pinpoint that the Number One single actor of human rights abuses is the DRC national army FARDC, as shown in the latest @unjhro report;
2) he also fails to indicate that the Second main actor of violence, according to UNJHRO, is the Mai-Mai coalition (VDP/Wazalendo), which is DRC government-sponsored, alongside the genocidal group FDLR & its splinter group Nyatura, mercenaries & Burundian national army FDNB, according to the UN Group of experts;
3) he equally fails to point out that FARDC (& the DRC police PNC) + the Mai-Mai coalition, in addition to the Islamist terrorist group ADF, represent more than 90% of human rights violations in the country;
4) Bauma continues to use the alleged "Kishishe massacre" as the only "evidence" of "human rights abuses by M23",
- whereas the alleged "Kishishe massacre" has never been forensically investigated by any qualified independent body or individual, including the UN, which has only referred to a "PRELIMINARY investigation";
- whereas Fred Bauma, 2 weeks after the alleged massacre, without any on-site forensic evidence having been collected, & without ever setting foot in Kishishe, had declared, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that "131 civilians, including children and women, were massacred" in Kishishe ;
- whereas Ebuteli's own violence mapping datasets, the @KivuSecurity Tracker, evaluated that the alleged massacre had resulted in 40 casualties, and not 131 as claimed by Ebuteli's director Fred Bauma;
- whereas Bauma knows that the last report of the alleged "Kishishe massacre" was published by @amnesty which reported that 20 men (and not civilians) were killed. This infers that these men were most certainly members of armed militias & not the "women" and "children" that Bauma described in his article in @lemondefr;
5) to back his argument, Bauma references a so-called report by @hrw, which "concluded", 4 months after the alleged massacre, solely from phone interviews & satellite images (and NOT a forensic evidence collection), that at least 14 mass graves had been found in Kishishe. The said-report indeed refers to 14 mass graves containing 15 to 20 bodies each for a total of 131 alleged victims, which means something seems to be off with these numbers...
6) and most importantly, no mention by Fred Bauma & HRW was ever made of the fact that Kishishe is an FDLR-location, where the genocidal group had committed atrocities for more than 2 decades, & before the arrival of M23 in Kishishe. And thus without any forensic evaluation, it is impossible to know if the bodies had been in the graves for 4 month, 2 years, or 10 years.
In sum, the only "evidence" of "human rights abuses by M23", i.e., the "Kishishe massacre", is in fact the product of Fred Bauma's fantasy about an imagined "M23- Rwanda invasion", & is in his view, a valid justification for supporting war against M23 & Rwanda.
Whereas M23, as clearly argued by its spokesperson @LawrenceKanyuka, is not only a local rebel group made of Congolese fighters, but it has been seeking dialogue & national re-integration of those Congolese who are seen as second class citizens for "not being Congolese enough".
M23 has signed & honored peace agreements for over a decade, having had clear political demands, which means that, contrary to the claims made by Fred Bauma, only a political solution & dialogue can lead to sustainable peace.

@charleskambanda@PatrickMuyaya You are just misinformed. You know nothing about the history of Kinyarwanda speaking people in the region. Congolese Tutsi are Congolese not Rwandans and their country is DRC.
