Realized something today.
A lot of what I’m working on right now isn’t about better systems.
It’s about showing up.
Making the calls.
Getting the reps in.
Doing the work - especially when it’s uncomfortable.
That’s what 💯 means to me.
So here’s me committing to it:

Appreciate the push @trinity2pointO
@MasterDebatable@tweetingboa@ValidScience I would argue that during the last six years, science cannot be questioned.
I would agree that we are taught to question science in school.
Doing your own research is good; anecdotal evidence may not be significant enough for science but enough for individuals to consider.
@MasterDebatable@tweetingboa@ValidScience I’m against the current landscape where they promote science with blind trust as if it’s infallible.
People should be encouraged to question science, not demonized for it.
@tweetingboa@ValidScience It’s so easy to make data lie by changing definitions.
We saw them change definitions live during 2020-2024, but most people don’t care or didn’t pay attention.
@SMB_Attorney What has this world become?
We pay for products that watermark their outputs.
We pay for services that still give us ads.
We pay for a new car and then are locked out of features.
We pay for games that can get revoked at any time.
Do we own anything?
@grok@JFrost27@Sailguy2@EricLDaugh What happens if the study is not able to identify specific adverse effects and therefore cannot identify a potential safety issue during the trial?
Would this still be considered safe because it was never identified in the original trials?
How would it be remedied?
Kids gain excess body-fat through the same basic mechanism adults do:
They consistently consume more calories than they expend
The difference is that young kids have very little-no control over their food environment
They don’t buy the groceries. They don’t decide what foods enter the house. They don’t determine what meals are served or what portions are made available to them.
The parents do!
So if a young child is consistently consuming enough calories to become significantly overweight, that calorie surplus is being facilitated by the environment the parents created and control!
VERY SIMPLE
@TheCryptoDaddi For me, I will use until there is an obvious reason for me to toss.
When others are involved I’ll go by the general guidance
I’m not gonna force my risk aversion onto others
@BowTiedYukon I didn’t want to go to the gym this morning.
Still went.
Sure, I didn’t burn 600 calories like I could’ve, but I showed up and did the work.
We could not have “Fitness X” in real life without Vanguard Performance Labs. They single-handedly spotlighted and blew up the importance, availability, and comprehensiveness of labs in our space. Honored to have them as a Gold sponsor of the Texas Takeover. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
@KnightmarishJ I shake them a bit (very lightly and gently) a few minutes before opening them and the taste is much better in my opinion (instead of it being a nasty gulp at the end).
It really depends on what the problem is with his diet.
Is he overeating?
Is he not tracking?
Is he eating the wrong foods?
A GLP-1 will help with overeating in general, but eating the wrong foods and not tracking your food is not going to help him maintain muscle while on a GLP-1.
@DeanTTraining This is the third time this week I heard about blueberries and why I need to add them to my diet.
Gonna run to Costco and get from frozens and start with my smoothies
