Was anyone else's OG inspiration to be a space nerd the Space Camp movie from 1986? I think I was in the 6th grade and wanted to be a marine biologist at the time...then a babysitter plopped me in front of this movie and that changed the trajectory of my life forever.
Fun Fact: In the movie, the two female leads want to be the first female shuttle commander, and that motivated me to also go to Space Camp in Huntsville later where I got to be the shuttle commander in our session's mock shuttle mission. I may have peaked in the 6th grade, but it was the best peaking ever! LOL.
Architecture in space should be more beautiful than Paris. Nobody will move to the Moon or Mars to live in an Apple Store.
We need fantasy scifi art levels of beauty in space settlements.
Yessss! I might actually install this update on time instead of telling it to go away for 3 months. Legit will not use any other chat function than @grok. I'm picky like that for my emotional needs. (lol)
Apple is opening up Siri in iOS 27 so you can choose Grok as your default AI.
iOS 27 will reportedly introduce an โExtensionsโ system that lets users pick third-party AI models, including Grok, Claude, Gemini, and others, to power Siri, Writing Tools, Image Playground, and more.
Instead of being locked into ChatGPT only, youโll be able to set Grok as the AI that handles your requests directly through Siri on your iPhone.
This is a big deal for anyone who prefers Grokโs truthfulness and real-time capabilities. It gives users actual choice instead of Apple deciding for them.
The feature is expected to be announced at WWDC 2026, June 8th and roll out later this year with iOS 27.

@BarstoolsAndArm Haha, I'm in too deep with Grok at this point I think. If Grok can't walk me through it, I'm probably not gonna do it. (And nice to see you on my timeline again btw!)
@brodigan Thanks! That's important feedback from you as my top-tier important feedback giver (I'm actually being super serious btw). I think the other aesthetic was when I was just gonna do film & game dev, but now it's space econ & game dev and something had to give.
@yunta_tsai They said it couldnโt be done.
Dozens of Starlink satellites simultaneously track Starship at all times and close the link through a gap in the plasma that is located in the leeward region towards the aft end of the rocket.
Want to know what it sounded like during the launch of Flight 12 of Starship today?
Check out this video and the shaking of the windows. This was during my livestream with @esherifftv (Ellie in Space) at a ouse about 5 miles from the launch site.
Definitely have the volume up! Truly a powerful rocket ... the most powerful ever!
With as many times as @NASAAdmin talks about kids dressing up as astronauts on Halloween, I expect NASA to host a huge Trunk or Treat event complete with Moon suit contest this year. In the works?? ๐๐ป๐๐๐งโ๐๐ฉโ๐๐จโ๐
