For me, it gave great perspective on life in your twenties, and not everything is just about inertia and and accomplishments.

There are simply things you WILL NOT do or will decide to not do once you get married, start a family and have other obligations. Life moves in stages and experiences and memories and relationships are finite resources — you can always get rich if you put your head down.

In my opinion, this is a great book for ambitious people who are reevaluating or thinking about reevaluating their purpose in life. Great book for those evaluating graduate school or pivoting in their career.
