Really disappointing, @impulseLabs_ and @sdamico Almost the weekend with no contact from your support team. Thinking about how to escalate my concerns, e.g. to BBB or emailing your investors. Do something!
Hey @ImpulseLabs_ I am one of your first customers, my stovetop is dead in an endless update loop when an install fails, and your support team has not responded after two days. WTF? Please do better!

This was a historic moment. The largest convening of #Indigenous geneticists, data scientists, physicians to include other national leaders at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory's science think tank, the Banbury Institute @cshlbanbury, to discuss Indigenous reference #genomes and implications:
Are you a recent Ph.D. (or about to finish) interested in doing a postdoc with me at the University of Chicago? This program might be just the ticket. Applications due Dec 18.

Without my abortion I wouldn't be the person, wife, mother, and physician I am today. I am voting because every woman deserves the self determination that the younger me got.

Let's also give credit to Tom Koetzel who established the PDB and ran it for decades, the DOE Brookhaven Nation Laboratory that provided a home for the resource, and legendary program officer John Wooley who shepherded it through many uncertain funding cycles
I'm talking at a conference later this year (on UX+AI).
I just saw an ad for the conference with my photo and was like, wait, that doesn't look right.
Is my bra showing in my profile pic and I've never noticed...? That's weird.
I open my original photo.
No bra showing.
I put the two photos side by side and I'm like WTF...
Someone edited my photo to unbutton my blouse and reveal a made-up hint of a bra or something else underneath. 🤨
Immediately, I email the conference host.
(FYI he is a great, respectable guy with 5 kids at home.)
He is super apologetic and immediately looks into the issue.
He quickly reports back that the woman running their social media used a cropped square image from their website.
She needed it to be more vertical, so she used an AI expand image tool to make the photo taller.
AI invented the bottom part of the image (in which it believed that women's shirts should be unbuttoned further, with some tension around the buttons, and revealing a little hint of something underneath). 🤯

FYI the conference organizers were super apologetic and took down all of the content with that photo.
Happy 10th birthday Open Targets! 🎉
Thank you to everyone who has worked to make Open Targets what it is today.
Here's to the next 10! 🥂
