How do you discern truth from fiction if thinking itself is augmented by AI? The Keyes Protocol explores this from a spiritual and technical perspective in the setting of an action sci-fi thriller.

You’re welcome.
It’s happened to me. Tell God about it directly. I wasn’t a Christian when I did it. An answer will come that is a way forward. It might appear as an inspiration or an opportunity. It might mean dumping everything you thought was true and going a different direction.
@tod_1992@DanNEO_SS@DKemeridou This is so important! Does the book actually help the reader become happier? More imaginative? Happier? Gain a new perspective they value?
The writers circle on X reminds me of a core lesson I learned from BNI. With BNI, you have other sales reps you see every week. If you always try to sell TO them, you’re missing out on building the relationship WITH them.
Build the relationship first. Sales come from referrals.
Unfortunately you can’t try to mirror match my timeline because our lives are different.
I attempted between 1996-1998. I found purpose after 9/11/01, God in 2005, marriage in 2011, and my foster son in 2024.
I’ve wrestled with the sins of my parents, death, addiction, racism, adultery, natural disasters, righteous anger, a failed society, doubt, you name it. This world can be beautiful at times but we need something beyond ourselves to find purpose in the ugly. That’s where Jesus makes a difference, even when individual Christians fail.
I disagree with some Christians in that I don’t think our sole purpose is to just worship God; God has a mission for your life and mine. Accepting that there is an unbreakable desire for you to be free from this world’s grip gives you freedom to then go live and love in the world without needing it to validate your worth.
@fakewarripikin@bluewmist My point is that things I believed were impossible and thus my life had no meaning or value were found. If I had succeeded, I never would have enjoyed them, and they wouldn’t have enjoyed me. You have your own things you yearn for. I’m not here to tell you what they are.

When I was a kid our home phone was one digit away from a motel with a reputation for very short term rentals. We would often get calls shortly after 2am when the bars closed from drunk men looking to talk with a female. My dad figured that if they weren’t sober enough to dial right he could have some fun too. So when they ask for “Susie” he would tell them she’s over at “John’s” room. Hilarity ensues.
@DanNEO_SS And it could be non-invasive by not tracking the actual keystrokes typed. Simply measuring time and quantity. That way authors can feel confident there’s no reading of their work by the software.
