@csub_techteach1 I would use Snagit, students can capture images of computer screens, and add graphics or text. It would also be helpful for creating visual aids, presentations, or infographics.
@csub_techteach1 My favorite technology tour would be the whiteboard/SmartBoard because it gives visual aid to present lectures with visual images, videos, and other multimedia resources to clarify concepts to help students better understand topics.
@Meganmize3@csub_techteach1 Hi Megan, and yes Google slides can help promote creativity and enhance the learning experience by presenting information in an organized and like visually appealing way.
@csub_techteach1 I would use Google slides because Google slides are very easy to use. Google slides has a user-friendly interface that makes it easy for students with little to no experience and graphic design to create visually appealing presentations.
@RubiGalvez13@csub_techteach1 Hi Rubi, are you teaching right-now? If so, what grade and do you mind telling me how khan academy has helped you please?
@csub_techteach1 I feel that I was struggling at first but now I’m getting the hang of it. Creating a survey would help families tell me about their families and cultural back grounds. Depending on the question I ask on the survey, I think a survey would be very informational.
@odalisr1999@csub_techteach1 I noticed a lot of us said we would use Google form and I think that it just works perfectly. I use it every day in my class now and I am just so good with it and use to it. I would like to explore other options also, but Google just works.
@csub_techteach1 I would use Prezi, I would let my higher level students be teachers by allowing them to create a project or video. Then they would teach this to the other students and at this time I would work with my (lower level) small groups. I would then do a review with the whole class.
@csub_techteach1 I would use canvas to asses students because I feel it easier to navigate through. I can put the rubric in the lesson plan on canvas where it it’s easily accessible to students. Also they be able to send me messages in regards to they grades or where they need to improve.
Which grading tool could you use to assess student learning more accurately? How could you incorporate this in a lesson plan? For example, you could use RubiStar to create a Rubric to assess learning opportunities when grading the summative assessment.#EDTE4200Spring2023TC6
@shyjimi@csub_techteach1 I too would is Google slide because I’m familiar with it. I am computer illiterate sometimes the students have to show me how to fix things in the classroom . So to have them help create a lesson play they will be engaged and feel accomplished.
@csub_techteach1 I would use pear deck, because students engage more in the lesson while using it. Also, what I would do is have students help me create the lesson plan while using pear. By doing this almost every students is engaged.
@EvaHernandez197@csub_techteach1 Hello Eva, I’m not familiar with Socrative would you mind telling a little about it? I want to know about all the technology apps that can be useful in the classroom.
@itsmekelci@csub_techteach1 Hi Kelci, last year was my first time learning what pear deck was and I loved it as a student, so I know I’ll love using it as an educator also.
@csub_techteach1 I would use YouTube during science about the solar system, and have them follow along and I would pause the video so that students can discuss with each other and myself about the video, as well write down specific details like this number of moons on a planet, leading to math.
Learning about different assessments has really been a life changer for me. I applied formative assessments to a lesson plan and it went so well. #Techteach_csub
