Myself, a 3 (almost 4) time NixOS release manager. Remove over working at Anduril and trying to participate in discussions. I was only active for 4 years, been banned for over two years and still THE THIRD HIGHEST REVIEWER OF HUMAN NIXPKGS PRS.

Nrdxp, fellow NixOS RM, also removed.

@domenkozar, 7 time NixOS RM. commit bit removed for likely political reasons.

In 2024, another dozen or so contributors were also banned or suspended.

A dozen or so other contributors and committers have also walked away because of the drama.

Meanwhile, there are others who went on strike, created hostile open letters, and harassed people; meanwhile receiving no recourse.

Hexa, went on strike from his infra and security roles. "Purge all nazis" while head moderator. Nothing

Raito, went on strike from his security role. Nothing

Delroth, also went on strike from infra, said "fuck you" multiple times, social media brigading, painted me as a Peter Thiel shill, allegedly tried to get access to the binary signing key. Nothing

People (ktemkin, qyriad, and others) involved with the MIC open letter threatening "escalation if demands are not met". Nothing

Joepie, multiple instances of harassment and cry bullying. Nothing. And mods (hexa, piegames) cleaned up what they could of his inflammatory rhetoric.

Cafkafk, changed your discourse banner to an Anduril advert overlayed with NixOS branding, several posts and blogs escalating the tensions and painting Anduril employees as instigators. Now you call yourself the "mastermind behind the woke invasion" during the reddit AMA in which you missed a SC meeting to conduct, all the while sitting on the SC. What are you doing right now? Does your behavior and actions help Nix? No

I knew you and other like you would change the narrative once a few years passed, which is why I made the timeline and video while those events were still relatively fresh. You may fool people who are ignorant of what has happened. But you have created quite the persona over the years.

@TanayKmr maintainers don't (can't) trust contributors by default any more. the result is open source now becoming "closed" open source where you need to have the privilege, connection and be invited. community is now more like a promotional gimmick.
