Que enfermo está nuestro país. De acuerdo con la ENSANUT de 2022 tenemos prevalencia de
- Sobrepeso y obesidad: 75.2 %
- Hipertensión arterial: 47.8 %
- Diabetes Mellitus 18.3 %
- Síndrome metabólico 56.3 %
La solución es cambiar el estilo de vida, pero nadie quiere hacer eso.

Un estudio con 500 pacientes con DM tipo 2 y sobrepeso, de reciente diagnostico sin tratamiento, se dividieron en 3 grupos

Uno estuvo con un modelo de ayuno intermitente 5:2: Cinco días de la semana comiendo normal x 2 días solo comían 25% de su demanda energetica diaria

Los otros dos grupos fueron uno Metformina hasta 2 gr al día o Empaglifozina 10mg al día.

Luego de 4 meses de seguimiento los resultados son sorprendentes: 😱😱😱😱
