@RustyBUCKETS321 2 HOT TAKES FOR WHEN YOU RETURN: Nets won't make it pass conference champ due to over reliance on iso offense contributors, the terms over and underrated are so overused that they have begun to detract from their original purpose: incorrect analysis of play
@drew4599 @JennLStevens @Nike Many sports companies do similar actions with their marketing. Although for Nike it appears hollow with their treatment of foreign employees. #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@JennLStevens @AlexKrallman 2. @budweiserusa choice to give up their free slot for a super bowl advertisement to information on Covid-19 is a perfect example of a purpose-driven mission that created goodwill towards a company #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@JennLStevens @AlexKrallman 1. Due to the typical length of live-streams, I do not think that is they will be the focus. I think the focus should be purpose-driven missions because this can create a feeling of reliability and loyalty towards a company #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@willtooke8@LaurelAynne I agree with your assessment but do not think it goes far enough. The AMA should also require that companies give consumers a way to opt in or out of data collection based on privacy preferences, and that opting out does not keep people from using the product #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@AlexKrallman how it can be used (especially related to data collection and user privacy), and guidelines for use of advanced AI, as well as position on classifications for advanced AI and the potential for synthetic humanoids. #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@AlexKrallman 2. AI is a difficult topic to set ethics for as it is brand new and we have yet to unleash its full potential. The potential for advanced AI raises many more questions about ethics, consciousness, and personhood. The AMA must define what AI is, how it can be used (cont.)
@emmanuel_lu7 @AlexKrallman This is a good option, but fails to meet my concerns as a consumer. The issue is the recording of private conversations. This is not something many consumers are comfortable with and often causes backlash #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@jrg0036wvu @AlexKrallman Should the interest generated by podcast and potential for growth outweigh Clubhouse's alleged privacy policy violations? #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@AlexKrallman 2. Audible could use the application to hold a massive virtual bookclub. They could play a reading of a set amount of chapters and then open the chatroom to discussion. #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@AlexKrallman 1. (Cont'd.) While some but name celebrities, including Elon Musk, Drake, and Kevin Hart are avid users of the application, immense backlash on the company is a real potential outcome and marketers should take this into account.
@cnw9053@LaurelAynne This is a great example of informational advertising. They use the time allotted to inform consumers about the product, rather than appealing to their emotions to encourage brand loyalty. #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@LaurelAynne 2. General motors prioritized informational promotion by analysing the amount of electric vehicles sold in Norway compared to America. They then informed the audience that they will be producing a large number of new electric vehicles in the coming years. #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@LaurelAynne 1. Rocket mortgage used emotional content by showing commericals that emphasis certainty. Their "certain is better" commericals show many situations that would be worse without certainty, and then compared that to the pricing on mortgages. #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@MohabatB71@CopywriterBob I would disagree with your assessment of Amazon. I think for a brand to have authenticity, they must also have ethical business practices. Amazon has shown in the past that they have subpar treatment of their employees, especially their warehouses workers. #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@AlexKrallman 2. I do not think brands can reobtain brand authenticity. After the Volkswagen scandal in 2015, sales of diesels and Volkswagen have decreased and have yet to return to the level at which they were. #ICMKTG#UNCWMKTG
@AlexKrallman Porsche maintains brand authenticity. Their brand is focused on creating some of the best "driver's" cars on the market and they have been doing so since 1931. Even after being purchased by Volkswagen and being forced to share parts with Audi, they continue to maintain this brand
@cwmarkstrat@Capitaldemarca I agree with your assessment. Popular TV creates shifts in culture and when a product is the focus of a plot it encourages viewers to purchase that product. #UNCWMKTG#ICMKTG
