This insight is very helpful for us as we develop the curriculum.

@MissJLud @maternityCPD I was an AHT on 0.8 for two years and loved my day off with my youngest. I loved doing the school run and I loved the creative headspace. Work were happy because I worked at full speed and long hours the days I was in and I was cheaper for them too

@SNCollins @teacherspeck In my experience belonging is the most powerful driver of behaviour. Weigh strategies to manage behaviour against creating a sense of belonging. Often they do the opposite. Those that do will help build learning relationships if other 3 are planned for too.

We should be encouraging teachers to switch off when at home: ensuring that policies & paperwork aren’t so constant and demanding that this can’t happen.We have a duty of care to put well-being first & that means-helping staff switch off!
