Quite a niche piece of trivia, perhaps, but wheel-worked crossings are rare enough nowadays. Sleaford West must be unique in also having regular parallel moves signalled over it! It must look odd to waiting motorists, one train seeming to chase another, only a few seconds behind.
We're pleased to confirm that CAF will deliver 10 new tri-mode trains for LNER.
The trains will be able to operate in electric, battery or diesel mode and will complement our current #Azuma fleet of 65 trains.
