Again, we didn’t have stats at the beginning so “very well known” doesn’t mean anything. While you are correct that later on the child mortality for flu and covid were shown to be similar, this was before we knew that. If I had decided not to sequester myself after treating COVID patients (and possibly being infected), I would have been gambling with my daughter’s health.
