We are finally ready to share the preprint version about our use of mRNA-display to study what makes disordered proteins form condensates, at the proteome-scale!
Check it out here:
Proteome-scale quantification of the interactions driving condensate formation of intrinsically disordered proteins https://t.co/yxsB8X9aAg #biorxiv_biophys
mRNA display continues to astound. Fantastic collaboration with @alexander_buell, led by the peerless @RasmusNorrild. ~100,000 peptides and their propensity to join the phase separation of a model disordered protein. https://t.co/hpgcDm8YC4
Check out @RasmusNorrild's work with Alex Buell @biophysics_dtu and @JosephRogers100 developing and using Condensate Partitioning by mRNA-Display to probe phase separation of ~100.000 sequences, and @SoBuelow simulations to support and analyse the experiments
Great timing! Our TDIPS method to study biomolecular condensates highly efficiently is now published in Angewandte Chemie, while I am attending an amazing conference @EMBLEvents#EESPhaseSeparation. Check out the paper here: https://t.co/ONIWGCNVH3
In this comprehensive review now published in @JChemPhys , Alex (@biophysics_dtu) and I highlight the recent advances in the experimental methods to quantitatively study biomolecular phase separation. Really happy to finally see it online!

Publication 🧵: Excited and proud to share that our work using deep network hallucination to scaffold an enzyme active site has been published (@ACSSynBio#EditorsChoice)! Dive in with us! 👇https://t.co/yK727Nr016
Was a delight to witness the development of these amazing helix-binding proteins. Congratulations to
@SusanaVazTor@PreethamVi@proleu@_JosephWatson and all on the team from the David Baker lab.

Finishing a PhD is a tough job, but also an amazing journey of growth and learning. It was therefore amazing to conclude the thesis by being able to discuss my work with @KnowlesLabCamb, @BenLehner, and @rbdamgaard!
Thanks to all involved - especially my supervisors!!
It's finally out ;) I'm happy to share the results of our work on comparing different protein stabilization strategies which resulted in three highly thermostable haloalkane dehalogenases with improved catalytic efficiencies. @LoschmidtL

Check out TDIPS, which can induce protein phase separation in a laminar flow! This is an easily accessible assay that probes most parameters of a protein's phase behavior, e.g. for biomolecular condensate formation. Read more in the thread below or in the pre-print.
If you are working or planning to work on alpha synuclein phase separation, then you will find my new article insightful. @alpha_synuclein

Join us! PhD position open! @HenrietteAutzen and I are offering one-hell-of-a- project: using high-end membrane protein science to enable the screening of ultra-large libraries of cyclic peptides. Funded by @DFF_raad, in collaboration with @LabPless. https://t.co/ZE3W2cYVvX
Alpha-helical peptides captured by designed proteins. Biomedical applications abound. Special thanks from us to @_JosephWatson --- new binders from peptide sequence alone. Congrats to the big team @SusanaVazTor@proleu @fabian_hink @DaveJuergens

Great collaboration between the Copenhagen University friends Jakob Winter Larsen , @LindorffLarsen Kristoffer Enøe Johansson and Charlotte O'Shea. With a cool methodological approach to stabilize proteins. Supported by structural work performed at @DTUbioengineer, #research.
I am happy to share our story from my Master's with @kristofferenoee. We devised a cheap and accessible route to protein stabilization by modelling high-throughput screening data, which increased stability of a model protein by almost 50% in a single step. https://t.co/qMByeZHYfp
Men forskningen siger noget andet.
