I am on my way to Kota to meet Shri Om Birla, the Speaker of Lok Sabha at his residence. I wanted to meet him at Delhi, but due to the prevailing situation, I couldn’t wait and I feel that it is very urgent to meet him as he is one of the prominent member of the Parliament. I can’t stand by waiting for someone now as it is very crucial. It is neither time for politics nor to work for a political party. It is time to fight for our community. Our community comes first for me above all. Let us together work for our community because without an identity everything is pointless. Being an indigenous people of Manipur, what I am today and how I can define is because of Manipur only. I will fight for it and will fight till the end relentlessly.

I met Speaker of Lok sabha , Shri Om Birla at his residence kota which is his constituency. I have narrated the story and submitted the report of ongoing violence which lasted for around 5 months. And I also urge him to give justice for the killing of two students by kuki miltants. And also narrated about the central paramilitary forces which are deployed to safeguard us, their action towards the civilians are harsh and rude.

It's not the right time to sit idle waiting for an appointment with the central leaders. If we didn't get the appointment we have to reach them either in their residence or office because they are the one who run the central government right now.

I met him because he is one of the prominent law maker of the country at the moment. Our community leaders should not stand still now or just an onlooker sitting idle. Everyone can play their own role in this fight for our community. There is no reason to be an onlooker when our own blood is at stake. And I thank all the meitei supporters from Kota Constituency who stood by me to meet Shri Om Birla to support meitei for the cause and for our Manipur.
