Finally did the dirty work. Walked the entire 2 hectares tallying what lived and died.

Fortunately at least 3 avocados and 8 eucalyptus survived.

All 240 olives and at least 40 almonds are accounted for..Acacia are blowing up. The aromatics are banging.

We are currently crafting our 7 generation bioregional regeneration strategy.

Why? Because what the governments, corporations, and fragmented communities can't do, we must, by creating a culture connected to the land, sea, and seasons.

Below is a map of the fires that have occurred through the Mediterranean in just the last week.

The age of reintegration is here, focusing on regenerative agriculture with the olive tree as the keystone species, and olive oil providing the liquidity for the transition. Stay tuned for me updates.

This weekend the inevitable inevitably happened. Forest fires raged across the island. Which got our team thinking. How can we fund and coordinate fire fighting with our reforestation efforts?

We've come up with an initial schematic of how the two processes can work together organized by activity integrating @grassEcon mutual credits, @GainForestNow eco credits and @SilviProtocol for tree mapping and payouts nested withing the larger @ReFi_Italia and @RegenCoordinate ecosystem.

As commitment pools are modular we can also design it so that there's a pool for a marketplace of goods and products, and also a marketplace for labor and time that can be bridged between.

There can even be separate pools for each province as that is mostly how the labor and goods are organized organically as well as governance.

We look forward to continuing this work especially as both the fires, droughts, and economic down cycles become more intense.
