What's the unique contribution that schools offer? Learning? So let's use it as an organising principle. That way we might succeed in ensuring every child experiences high-quality #learning, every day.
If we want every child to experience high-quality learning, every day then we best have a good idea of what learning is and isn't: https://t.co/tdOxxRGX1h
@BeechHanna It's going to be a real game changer. So great for it to have the focus it deserves! Fingers crossed for us being slightly closer to a new normal by September!
@MrBMitchell96 Have one adult responsible for first aid and the administration of any medicines. It may be useful to have a tick sheet for pupils' medicines so that you have a clear record of what has been administered and when. Not the most exciting part of a residential but important.
@afPE_PE@Challenge_59@educationgovuk@DamianHinds@nadhimzahawi Excellent news for all! We are a structured health education programme that uses active pedagogy. We support schools to provide ample opportunities for physical activity within the school day and therefore meet the use of funding criteria. Follow or tweet us for more information.
@WHO@WHO_Europe@WHOEMRO@pahowho@WHOAFRO@WHOSEARO@WHOWPRO Interesting point about restraining under 5's in prams - although it can sometimes be the easiest (and possibly the safest) option, it's important to build in daily activities where young children are not required to be restrained - i.e a trip to the park, come rain or shine!
@pinkfairycakes @SGA_Academic @PaulGarvey4 We often plan our walk/talk meets so they coincide with our walk to the train station. Ideas discussed and ways forward planned while already half way home!
@Vivgrant Like the phrase, 'selfless leadership' - much worry and stress can be avoided when we act in accordance with our values rather than to merely please others.
