Year 2 is in the books for the Veterans Expo! As a veteran myself, I understand that we all need a helping hand at times. I was proud to work with @RepMunroe to bring over 30 organizations to our veteran community. Here’s to next year!
We are losing wonderfully skilled healthcare providers left and right, but especially nurse practitioners. I hope in the future to pass legislation to give NPs full practice authority not only to further help our communities but to open their own practices.
The evidence is in the research; nurse practitioners provide just as good of care if not better than their physician counterparts. The commonwealth needs to adopt full practice authority or we’re at risk of losing more NPs to our neighboring states.
I was proud to speak on behalf of healthcare advocates in support of legislation aimed at improving the lives of nurse practitioners so they can tend to their patients who need it most. It’s time we give our primary care providers full practice authority over their patients.
As the proud mother of a trans son, it's important that ALL students feel safe and respected at school. I support legislation that would protect students from gender-based discrimination while also providing an inclusive curriculum.
Pennsylvanians deserve access to quality healthcare. It's commonsense to allow highly qualified nurse practitioners to have full practice authority to fill the gap caused by staffing shortages.
I voted yes on legislation that would enshrine Pennsylvania workers’ right to organize in the state constitution because our workers deserve to live with dignity. #SupportWorkers#StandWithWorkers

As a veteran myself and member of the House Veterans Affairs Committee I’ll always look after the best interests of our troops and their families. We’re dedicating May as Blue Star Mothers Month for the tremendous sacrifice they make to our country each day.

Each year, thousands of seniors are priced out of the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program due to economic factors out of their control.
Our plan lets 575,000 seniors qualify, keeping more of our seniors in their homes.
We are hosting a resource fair for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism and their families.
This event will be held on May 22 at 5 p.m. at our Human Services Center in Norristown and provide info on housing, employment and more!
