We're the members of Congress fighting every day to protect & expand abortion access in the U.S. & globally. Join us! Chairs @RepDianaDegette & @RepPressley.
Proud to help lead @HouseDemocrats, @EnergyCommerce, @HouseJudiciary, 212 House Dems & all 47 Senate Dems in an amicus brief to #SCOTUS urging them to reject the Fifth Circuit's decision & protect medication abortion access. Your health care decisions are NOT Louisiana's to make.
My mother had more reproductive rights than my grandchildren have, and that's hard to wrap your head around.
We can't stop fighting to protect the rights we may have once taken for granted.
This fund was never about “protecting” anyone — it was about rewarding anti-abortion extremists who harass providers, intimidate patients, and target health centers.
While blocked for now, the fight to stop rewarding harmful behavior is far from over.
BREAKING: A federal judge temporarily blocks any payouts from the Trump administration's $1.8 billion "anti-weaponization" settlement fund. https://t.co/aIeZ2LLH8I
When Republicans overturned Roe v. Wade, they delivered a death sentence to women across America.
Stories like Emily Waldorf and Amber Nicole Thurman are preventable.
I will not stop fighting until we fully restore abortion access.

Millions can, for now, breathe a sigh of relief.
But this should’ve never been up for debate.
Democrats’ fight for reproductive freedom is far from over. We will keep going until every woman has full autonomy to make her own healthcare decisions.
After hundreds of Democratic lawmakers called on SCOTUS to uphold access to mifepristone, I’m pleased the court made the right decision & restored access to this safe and FDA-approved medication.
But this fight isn’t over.
We must continue to defend reproductive freedom for every woman nationwide.
Everyone should have equitable access to healthcare.
And disability justice & reproductive justice are connected.
With a nationwide assault on reproductive healthcare deeply impacting our siblings with disabilities, our bill is timely, urgent, & responsive.
I am relieved that access to mifepristone has been maintained but we must continue to stay vigilant amid the repeated legal attacks on basic reproductive healthcare.
As this case moves forward, I will continue fighting to ensure that patients — not politicians — have the right to make their own health care decisions.

This week, the Supreme Court preserved access to mifepristone as the case moves forward.
It’s been proven safe and effective for over 25 years.
These legal attacks are creating chaos and confusion nationwide. I won’t stop fighting to protect reproductive care for all.
The Supreme Court rightfully upheld the law today by restoring access to safe, effective medication abortion via mail and telehealth.
But the fight isn’t over.
Where women live should never determine their access to essential reproductive health care.
I was proud to join more than 250 of my Democratic colleagues last week in urging the Supreme Court to block the Fifth Circuit’s medically unnecessary restrictions on mifepristone nationwide.
I’m also pleased that the large pharmacies that got certified to distribute mifepristone as a result of my pressure can continue to help women across the country access medication abortion.
While this decision preserves access to essential reproductive health care for now, I will keep fighting alongside @ReproCaucus to ensure health care decisions stay solely between patients and their doctors.
Good. Mifepristone is effective and safe—but this fight isn't over. I will keep working in Congress to protect the freedom for women to make decisions about their own bodies.
I’ve said it before, and I will continue to say it: Mifepristone is safe, effective, and access to it is a right.
While the recent SCOTUS order is a victory, it’s temporary. And I will not stop fighting until access is fully restored.
Good to see the decision by the Supreme Court for access to reproductive healthcare while reaffirming longstanding, science-based health guidance from medical professionals.

Lee Zeldin either lied to my face yesterday, or he has no idea what's going on at his own agency.
Take it from the "abortions in the water" lady herself who met directly with EPA.
I guess Zeldin's anti-abortion friends have a different perspective from him!
Mifepristone was safe when the FDA first approved it over two decades ago, and it has been safe and effective for the millions of women who have used it since.
Allowing continued access to this medication is the right decision. End of story.
Our veterans served this country with honor.
They should be able to access the reproductive health care they need — including abortion care, without political interference.
No one who served our nation should be forced to surrender their bodily autonomy.
🚨SCOOP: The first lawsuit over the Trump administration’s abortion ban for veterans & their dependents in dire circumstances was just filed.
A vet w/ chronic health issues + a history of pregnancy complications is currently being impacted, the suite says. More at @MSNOWNews:
The Supreme Court’s decision to preserve access to mifepristone through telehealth and mail is a victory, albeit tenuous. Reproductive care remains under direct attack across this country.
This ruling offers little reassurance from courts that have repeatedly failed to fully protect women’s healthcare and bodily autonomy.
Safe, accessible reproductive care must be protected. The right to make decisions about your own body is nonnegotiable.

Moments ago the Supreme Court preserved access to mifepristone as this case continues.
Mifepristone was safe and effective when the FDA first approved it over 25 years ago, and it has been safe and effective since.
The endless legal attacks on basic healthcare are causing confusion and chaos across the country. We will continue the work to restore, protect, and expand reproductive healthcare for all.
