@TheRealDudja No, I was a paper boy, there were dozens of us. We met every day at the paper station and messed around loading up. Our crew was organic and grew and shrunk depending on what was going on and where. Senior year I worked at Sears as a stock boy. It was great.
@RollingStone I have vinyl, cassette tapes, and CDs. They each have an enjoyable experience. I have a CD player in the car which means I can play what I want. On my system at home I gave an old Sony player that holds ten CDs at a time. My Technics SL1210 for all the vinyl I've accumulated.
@jeremyknauff The Expanse, not sure what service has it now, used to be SciFi, then Prime acquired to finish it up. More wokeified than the books but pretty good.
@surfgoldbeaches Fished out there on sport boats many times. Great for 40lb Yellowtail and Black sea bass, which you have to throw back, broom tail grouper.
@Modelologist Last week the doomers were predicting SoCal would be in the eye of a hurricane and flooding now. It's 75⁰ and dry as a bone, light breeze. Nobody knows 'nuthin.
@GrowingUpRetro Growing up with five kids, two adults, and one bathroom, going to the john was like an Indy pit stop. Habit has never been broken, I don't understand people that think the crapper is the household lounge.
@BuzzPatterson Detroit News five star late edition. I added so many extra subscribers that they split them off into a seperate rout. Paid me for them but I was pissed.
@BillWiIdin It's goddam women, my sister won't tip less than 20% no matter how crappy the service is. She tips on take out. She freaks when I refuse to tip or only tip 10%. My tip max is 15%, and service has to be stellar. I don't tip for being smiled at.
@luinalaska There are people that get in lines for service and wait till they get to the counter to begin thinking about the transaction. They then need to be guided through every step and want to be instructed about the reason for esch step. Only then do they pull out their wallets to pay.
@MayorBillWells My HO insurance doubled this year, because I live in a high risk fire zone. The brush in the hills around here hasn't been thinned in 24 years. The nature center below me protects some animals and is untouchable, it's creasote bush and eucalyptus trees are pure fire fuel.
@HistorianUSA1 I see NO kids riding traditional pedal bikes in my area. It's surprising how young some electric bike riders are. This generation is going to be fat, useless adults. Bike rideing was the last bastion of exercise that kids got.
