Trying one last ditch effort and a new location I was shockingly surprised there was a fox tail in the air 100 feet away from me digging. I dove to the ground, found a rock because my tripod was in the car. And I got this.

Up since 2am, @wsferries to Friday Harbor. Mission: Foxes. 1st 8 hrs were ok but gear issues left me unsatisfied + they were too far away for my @lumix GH5 / 400mm and startled easily. Was trying to actually shoot vid. After some food, went back 30 min before my ferry home....

This is my experience going into the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, better known as “CHAZ”, around the abandoned Seattle Police Department East Precinct...overall peaceful. It was quite an experience to say the least!
