@greateranglia very annoying when you get to the station early (Ipswich) and get on the 12:41pm train to m’tree on platform 2, then wonder why you’ve not left, only to see a train dept platform 3 at 12:44pm and see that the dept board now states your sitting on the 12:53pm train!

@greateranglia There also was no indication that there were problems on the Ipswich to Cambridge line when we left. Only update was delays to the London - Norwich service. It was at Bury that we were told the train was diverted. Frustration can be avoided if info is given as soon as possible.
@greateranglia Then the 10:48 pulled in on plt 2. Impossible to get there in time, so I’m on the slow train to Cambridge.
It’d be hugely helpful if staff onboard a diverted train give people the information to make their onward journey. Staff at Ely didn’t have up to date info to advise.
@greateranglia I was at Ely, initially it seemed the 10:48 to Stansted on plt 2 was my quickest option. Then the board changed and it said the next train on plt 2 was going to Norwich. So I quickly made my way to plt 1 to get the 10:51 to King’s Cross which stops at Cambridge. 1/2
@greateranglia Literally no one knows what’s going on trains are changing platform without staff being informed. No idea which way to get to Cambridge quickest.,.
@greateranglia Train from Ipswich to Cambridge, diverted to Ely. Told to change at Ely for Cambridge but no further info provided for passengers. At the very least an announcement over the tannoy would be helpful. As the app is not loading at the moment…
Research from @SamJWilsonPhD#CITIID and colleagues shows bird flu viruses can replicate at fever temperatures. Identifying the key gene behind this clarifies spillover risk and strengthens pandemic preparedness.
