@antinaziandwoke@DrJavierDeLaHe1@grok Also it’s funny you say that cause most of the time scientists won’t be so keen to toss a theory because of a counter example. Didn’t you even learn about the exceptions to certain laws of physics? If counter examples happen theories are typically modified not. thrown away
@antinaziandwoke@DrJavierDeLaHe1@grok It’s an explanatory analogy meant to portray a specific aspect of the scenario, not all aspects. I didn’t propose it as a “logical equivalent.”
You don’t use the scientific method to assess witness testimony. Do you think that’s how a court of law works?
@antinaziandwoke@DrJavierDeLaHe1@grok So I don’t want to say you don’t understand either but I clearly violated zero logical or scientific principles. You could say I left out pertinent details but that’s not a logical mistake.
Please explain to me where the scientific method comes int all this though
@IsolatedHavoc@frm_state_farm@AStrasser116 I don’t really care about your opinion on debates. Sometimes it can be theatrics sure.
Anyways I’m curious if you can answer the question I asked before: is there any objections to Muse’s content or anything he said in the debate. Or points from her other works which are strong
@IsolatedHavoc@frm_state_farm@AStrasser116 Yeah if it was a good counter but it just isn’t.
If you think that she’s right and Muse is wrong please by all means tell me what Muse was wrong on or something she points out in her other works that is an important counterfactual.
@chrisdcath@namae282 Uh no one is presuming they are saved but we are saying they have a worse chance of being saved (worse than a Christian) but they still have hope
@antinaziandwoke@DrJavierDeLaHe1@grok 1. I don’t think you understand the scientific method or how it would apply in this context.
2. Just because there is testimony that didn’t see something doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. If I saw a car wreck and you didn’t, the car wreck probably happened
@MatthewHartke LMAO the exact thing that got the Jews cut off from God and had their status as God’s chosen people given to the Church is “one of their great gifts”
Please be serious. Trying to dupe God and find loopholes is not “closeness” it’s disobedience in heart.
@BarnettMPH@abanoub1780@ApostolicZoom@CapturingChrist Thank you for conceding.
It’s embarrassing you keep reasserting your conclusion as if it’s a point.
People don’t believe their eyeballs into being immune from the sun.
Your willful ignorance is frankly disgusting. You don’t want to learn.
I hope God softens your heart.
@frm_state_farm@AStrasser116 What kind of citation are you looking for? He literally says where he is getting his information for most points he brings up he'll usually name a scientist such as with the expert in blood analysis he brought up… if you want much more than that you’ll have chastise her as well.
@IsolatedHavoc@frm_state_farm@AStrasser116 To some extent you are correct but when someone is engaging in a good faith manner like Ethan and bringing up what actually happens in the studies and how the tests work… and then she basically concedes the point and says “but they should do a dna test”
@antinaziandwoke@DrJavierDeLaHe1@grok It is pretty amateurish. He spends half of it just comparing to what he was taught as a child… which is highly irrelevant.
He also doesn’t explain what was seen by most people. Only argues that because there were exceptions we can rule out the rest… which doesn’t follow.
