Just had the best experience with the @easyJet twilight bag drop @BristolAirport. Absolutely no one there so breezed through and given a ticket to allow free parking too. Great way to get around operating difficulties. #contingencyplanning

@Alex_Paramedic @jbrannan23 Absolutely agree. No problem with crew mate doing obs but I like a completely uninterrupted hx when no immediate. I think it's professional and ensures a complete and comprehensive hx. You'll rarely see any other HCPs doing both at once.

Well, a further job to an elderly person with low oxygen levels and then a trip to Wells for a week long shoulder injury concluded my shift. I'm grateful for finishing on time but it's been a busy one! Handed over to the night crew. Happy Christmas! Good night!

During one incident we worked alongside our colleagues from @dsairambulance.

Third patient was an unresponsive baby after a traumatic event. Luckily a significant improvement during my time with them but transferred to hospital with a crew for further observation.

Second job was to a patient who was having a stroke. Sudden collapse and FAST positive. Priority 1 backup and a rapid transfer to the CT scanner.

Blimey! What a day?! Just having some food and will update. It's a crazy busy one out there today!

First job was an elderly male with diarrhoea and vomiting. They'd phoned 111 for advice but been passed to 999 due to some concerns over his symptoms. Discharged via the on call doctor for advice on insulin administration.
