🚨🗣️New: Mohamed Salah on the controversial officiating decisions in Egypt and Argentina game, Messi and Argentina are being favored:
“People will say Argentina showed the mentality of champions. Fine. But tell me this: when exactly did Egypt get the same protection from the officials?
We scored a second goal. The stadium exploded. The world saw it. Then suddenly VAR became an archaeologist, digging through the ruins of football history to find a foul from another lifetime.
Funny how they could rewind the game Five minutes to cancel our goal, but when I was brought down in the box, everyone suddenly forgot where the replay button was.
That’s what hurts. Not losing. Not Argentina.
The inconsistency.
One decision gets examined under a microscope. Another gets buried under the carpet.
We were told football is decided on the pitch. Tonight it felt like it was decided in a control room.
And let’s talk about those final minutes.
Two penalty appeals. Two moments that could have changed everything. Nothing. No review. No urgency. No explanation.
Then Argentina go down the other end and score the winner.
That isn’t a plot twist. That’s the kind of script that leaves millions of people asking questions.
Egypt fought for every blade of grass. We defended. We believed. We earned our moments.
But every time we climbed the mountain, someone moved the summit.
The disallowed goal.
The ignored penalty shouts.
The cards flying around our bench because people who dedicate their lives to this game couldn’t understand what they were witnessing.
And now we’re expected to smile and say football won?
No.
Football wins when the rules are applied equally.
Football wins when VAR is a shield for fairness, not a sword that appears only when convenient.
Because from where I’m standing, Egypt didn’t just lose 3-2.
Egypt lost a goal, lost two penalty appeals, lost faith in consistency, and eventually lost a place in the quarter-finals.
Maybe Argentina deserved to advance.
Maybe they didn’t.
That’s football.
But what will make people angry isn’t the result.
It’s the feeling that one team was forced to play against eleven men, the clock, and a set of decisions that seemed to change shape whenever the game demanded it.
And that’s why this match will be remembered long after the scoreline is forgotten.”
Baloch Literacy Campaign
The Baloch Literacy Campaign presents the poor condition of the Government Girls Middle School, Cheel, Greshag Khuzdar, Balochistan. This is a middle school which has only two teachers, who are teaching the students on contractual basis.
According to the students rest of the teachers along with the headmistress often remain absent from the school. The school possesses no adequate facilities including doors & windows, desks & mats for students. It also lacks water & washroom facilities for the female students.
Building of the school is ruined & is unsuitable to b used anymore.
BSAC (@BSAC_org) ,under the banner of BLC, demands for its renovation with all possible facilities & enough teaching staff to ensure the quality education of the students of Greshag. This is required on urgent basis.
Gulan did not receive protection; instead, she received bullets from her husband.
Mr. Bilawal Bhutto, I would suggest arranging another gathering at President House to invite Pakistani media and foreign leaders to show them data on women killed, girls abducted and converted.

The Human Rights Council of Balochistan strongly condemns the arrest of prominent human rights lawyer and activist Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir @ImaanZHazir and her husband, advocate Hadi Ali Chattha @AdvHadiali, in Islamabad today.
Reports indicate that the couple was detained by police while en route to a scheduled court appearance, allegedly without being presented with a formal FIR at the time of arrest and amid claims of excessive force and non-compliance with due process. This incident raises grave concerns about the erosion of fundamental legal safeguards, including the right to be informed of charges promptly and protection from arbitrary detention.
Such actions represent a serious violation of the rule of law and appear designed to intimidate and silence human rights defenders who courageously advocate for justice, accountability, and freedom of expression.
HRCB demands:
- The immediate and unconditional release of Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir and Hadi Ali Chattha.
- A transparent investigation into the circumstances of their arrest, including any use of force.
- An immediate end to the harassment, intimidation, and arbitrary targeting of human rights defenders, lawyers, and activists across Pakistan

Pakistan cannot claim progress while thousands of families still search for their missing loved ones. Enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings are a crime against humanity and they must end.
It’s time for truth, justice, and accountability. ✊🏽

Enforced disappearances are a grave violation of fundamental human rights. In Pakistan, this crime continues to be carried out systematically, particularly targeting the Baloch. Thousands of Baloch youth have been subjected to enforced disappearances, leaving their families and communities in anguish. Instead of addressing these injustices, questioning them often results in further abductions, arrests, and repression.
This is not justice — it is oppression. Speaking against enforced disappearances is not limited to one community; it is a moral responsibility shared by all. Whether Baloch, Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashtoon, or Kashmiri — anyone can recognize the difference between right and wrong, and anyone can find the courage to speak against tyranny.
For the past six months, five leaders of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) have been detained unlawfully. They have been specifically targeted because they speak out against enforced disappearances and demand justice for the victims. More recently, our colleague, Nazar Marri, has been subjected to enforced disappearance for the past 35 days. These actions reflect neither justice nor rule of law, but rather a systematic attempt to silence voices of truth and resistance.
Let it be clear: every attempt to suppress us will only strengthen our resolve and further expose the unlawful actions of the state institutions involved. We demand the immediate release of all leaders of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee and every victim of enforced disappearance.
Today , we are launching a campaign for the safe recovery of Nazar Marri. We urge all individuals, civil society groups, and human rights defenders to join this campaign, raise their voices, and stand in solidarity. Our struggle is not just for the Baloch, but for justice, law, and humanity itself. Together, we must ensure that every disappeared person is recovered and that state institutions operate strictly within the bounds of law
