@aden_corbett2 What a great list of books! Picture books are great for students in all year levels and sparks discussions among classmates. Thanks for sharing this resource Aden! π
@oliviaduggan__ How great is this, I didnβt know about Steamwatch before! So awesome that they can test their water samples, I think it would clearly show the pollution waste is creating in our waterways.
Thanks @DanaHolz10 for sharing this! Itβs a great resources to show what we can do with our waste so it doesnβt end up in our oceans and incorporates Aboriginal perspectives. #SDG14#UoNTeach#educ4750
It is important to include Aboriginal perspectives in our units of work. https://t.co/9vYVOZOWQ1 This is an excursions students can go on and learn about Sea Country and learn about the Ghost Nets https://t.co/YmtsvGajNg #UoNTeach#educ4750
In my unit of work, physical assets will be included with students putting posters about #SDG14 around the community. Associations like Take 3 for the Sea, the Individual students and parents and Institutions like social services will be used too. #SDG14#UoNTeach#educ4750 π
I love this idea for Creative Arts! Allowing students to be creative to show the implications for plastic waste in our school oceans. These creations show a powerful message. Posters like this will define it be included in my unit of work. #SDG14#UonTeach#educ4750
@Claudiaa5200 What an important question. Itβs a great prompt for student discussions on sustainable production and consumption. A great way to get students thinking sustainably. A good question for teachers to consider too before beginning their unit.
