Moments ago, an account linked to the disgraced IRGC pushed footage on X claiming a “naval confrontation” between Iranian forces and the U.S. Navy in the Strait of Hormuz.

Within minutes, users dismantled the fabrication:
The vessel in the clip appears to be USS Sirocco (Cyclone-class, PC-6), a patrol ship transferred to Egypt in early 2023.

This wasn’t a confrontation.
This was recycled footage, repackaged as propaganda.

The conclusion is operationally clear:
The IRGC has lost not only battlefield credibility, but information dominance as well.

Under sanctions, Iran can't import the necessary spare parts, catalysts, or industrial equipment. I’ve come across something noteworthy.

At approximately 2:15 am (Iran time), numerous civilian reports indicated a series of explosions in the Esfahan area.

Cross-referencing these reports with NASA's fire monitoring data reveals thermal anomalies that align both geographically and temporally with the reported explosions. These hotspots point to a strike on the industrial complex "Haft-e Tir", which I have previously discussed and which is linked to Iran's nuclear program.

The facility is located roughly 25 km from the improvised airdtrip where two C-130 aircraft and a light helicopter were destroyed - an event that appears to have occurred within the same time window.

While it is not yet possible to conclusively determine that these incidents are part of the same operation, the geographic proximity and the timeline strongly suggest a single operational event, or at the very least, a coordinated set of actions.
