NIDM was delighted to welcome MBA students from 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗮, during their Global Study Trip to India. The students interacted with 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗵𝘂𝗽 𝗩𝘆𝗮𝘀, 𝗜𝗔𝗦, 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗡𝗜𝗗𝗠, Faculty members and senior officials of NIDM, exchanging ideas on climate resilience, public health, technology, and productivity.

The discussion offered the students first-hand insight into how India is managing climate-driven risks and strengthening disaster preparedness and inter-agency coordination at scale. The visit marked a meaningful exchange of perspectives and strengthened the understanding that the future of climate and disaster resilience will be shaped by informed, inspired young minds.

However, if this rule had been implemented before the start of the pilgrimage season, it would have been much better

This is the era of social media, where everyone, especially influencers, wants views and growth for their channels

Recently, spiritual tourism has become quite popular in India, and good arrangements are being made at such spiritual places

But after seeing so many reels and videos, everyone feels like visiting Kedarnath. There has been a 61% increase in visitors since last year, and that too within 10 days of the temple gates opening

We must understand whether we are still going for devotion or just to post on our social media. True devotion comes from within, not from a few seconds of videos on the phone

Please think about this and try to maintain the sanctity of such beautiful spiritual places
