Examining the actions of the Somaliland government and Buurmadow over the past two weeks regarding this political fiasco. It is clear that President Irro and Burmadow are both firmly against the integrity and sovereignty of Somaliland. President Irro and Burmadow both put financial gain before the sovereignty of their nation.

Why is Habr Awal the only cultural leader addressing this political fiasco? Why have other Isaaq cultural leaders not spoken up about this political mess? If Habr Jeclo and Habr Yonis cultural leaders are truly defending their country’s integrity, why haven’t they appeared on Somaliland television? Are Habr Jeclo and Habr Yonis cultural leaders collaborating as ruling and opposition parties against Somaliland’s sovereignty?

Why have opposition parties in Somaliland’s political scene if they fail to protect Somaliland’s sovereignty from the alliance between Somalia and the Somaliland government under President Irro? Mahamoud Xashi from the Kaah party and Ina Kahin of Kulmiye have failed in their political opposition efforts against President Irro’s Waddani party over the past two years in Somaliland.

The “fourth estate” (or the “fourth power”) aka Somaliland media, 58 journalists, has been imprisoned by the President Irro to silence them. Democracy in Somaliland has failed under President Irro and the Waddani party, who have colluded with Garxajis cultural leaders aka ruling party and Habr Jeclo cultural leaders useless beyond comprehension while pretending to be the opposition party.
