@NeoUnrealist@mnmlst2021@Timodc You are conflating the beginning of the war with the end. To start the USSR and Germany has a non-aggression pact. Also the US had an official position of neutrality. This all changed significantly by the end of the war. They were allies, negotiating the results of axis defeat.
Seeing the country wide LiDAR plan for France (IGN) reminded me that a STAC + COPC set up for all the open LiDAR globally would be a super cool public good https://t.co/fv4mseOv7K
@mercoglianos @gelliot57766809 I didn't think the Iranians were that sophisticated yet. Often we also see jamming causing ghost satellites (below the horizon) to show up in receivers logs. This causes a significantly inaccurate position that can look like spoofing. Push spoofing details https://t.co/PojvmKgYxY
@mercoglianos @gelliot57766809 Very insightful analysis. Thanks for sharing it. The first instance was definitely spoofing. Typically spoofing will teleport the location of a GNSS receiver to a set location like an airport as a drone defense tactic. We have seen the Israelis using new push spoofers.
@mouthofmorrison I'm fascinated to see what happens when the AI future runs into the satellite licensing quagmire. I have my money on the biggest winners being you and @Billfgreer
Thought I'd drop back into Twitter to share some open data. You can take or leave the perspective on building more accessible AR enablement. Geographers can't trying to make everything raster or vector ๐https://t.co/F38rkbnLOd
@lemonodor@GPSBackup Yeah I think having a terrestrial and aviation detection network would be useful. If there are opportunities to collaborate let me know!
I'm open to new projects!

@mouthofmorrison@fortiain@itishimarstime FWIW - two years is where we saw the statistical inflection point on the sales value for archived data. It does make for great training data, but I don't think that is the big monetization opportunity.
@mouthofmorrison@MasterActual Are you thinking of an analog to government spectrum auctions? A limited resource that gets allocated competitively as a commodity. A long time ago when we were researching digital divide that mechanism ended up being the most equitable market based solution FWIW.
