@LionBlogosphere Sometimes out of state schools are cheaper because of the money they offer to students. Our son knows he can go out of state if the final cost is equal or less than what his in state options would cost.

@end3of6days9 My son’s braces are $6k and we went to 2 different places for prices and this was $200 cheaper than the other. My braces were $2,400 in 1988. One of the orthodontists said the braces themselves are $2400 for my son and the rest of the cost is the appts, maintenance, etc.
