Pred desetinama okupljenih Srba, mahom iz Hjustona, ali i iz Dalasa, na tribini naslovljenoj „Obaveze srpskog rasejanja u obnovi srpske državnosti“, proto Petrović govorio je o zamahu obnove Srpske Narodne Odbrane kao vodeće nacionalne organizacije Srba u Severnoj Americi, kao i o prekoj potrebi i obavezi srpskog rasejanja da se posveti oslobođenju otadžbine od okupacije koja traje decenijama i njenoj sveobuhvatnoj obnovi.

The Albanian Muslim occupation police force is harassing the native Serbian Christian population in Kosovo and Metohija even as they attempt to celebrate the holiest Christian holiday — Orthodox Christmas.

Albanian Muslim police tore down a banner that read:

“Peace from God
Christ is Born!”

And yet this has been tolerated in the heart of Europe for decades. One can only ask why NATO and the EU continue to look the other way and refuse to lift a finger to protect native Serbs from systematic persecution.

На српском конзулату у Чикагу, уз нашу заставу, вијори се и застава тзв. Републике Косово!

Фотографије до којих је ексклузивно стигла редакција Славија инфо, а које су снимили Срби који живе и раде у Чикагу, изазвале су шок, бес и неверицу. На згради Генералног конзулата Републике Србије у овом америчком граду, уз заставу С��бије истакнута је и застава тзв. Републике Косово – симбола једнострано проглашене независности коју Србија званично не признаје.

Још веће изненађење изазива чињеница да се иста застава налази и у унутрашњости конзулата, тик поред државног обеле��ја Републике Србије, као да је реч о институцијама две признате државе.
За многе у дијаспори ово није само дипломатски скандал, већ директан удар на достојанство Србије и српског народа. Нарочито их погађа то што се све дешава у институцији која би, по својој природи, требало да штити интересе Србије у иностранству, а не да шаље поруке које грађани тумаче као отворено признање косовске независности.
Вучићева политика капитулације
Срби из Чикага кажу да никада раније нису видели овакву праксу и да сматрају да се овакви симболички потези не би догодили без јасне политичке климе коју је створила власт у Београду.
У коментарима који стижу из дијаспоре директно се прозива председник Александар Вучић и ��егова годинама грађена нарација о томе како „води најуспешнију политику по питању Косова“ и како се бори за територију „која нам је отета“.
Грађани су огорчени јер, како наводе, Вучић годинама говори о „највећим притисцима у историји“, о томе како „никада неће признати независно Косово“, док се у пракси све чешће појављују ситуације које показују супротно. За многе је ова сцена из Чикага само још један доказ да се, испод површине, спроводи политика тихог прихватања косовске државности.
Да ли би иједна озбиљна држава дозволила да јој у званичној дипломатској мисији уз националну заставу стоји застава територије коју сматра својом? Ово је, како многи истичу, сигнал да је Вучићева прича о одбрани Косова само празна политичка фраза за унутрашњу употребу.
