The interaction focused on DRIIV’s ongoing efforts to foster B2B science and technology collaborations between Italian conglomerates and Indian counterparts. She also received valuable inputs from Honourable PSA to GoI, Prof. Ajay Sood on steering DRIIV's initiatives in critical and emerging technologies and interacted with the Vice Chairman, Niti Aayog Mr. Suman Bery.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the day when the first PSA, Dr. Abdul Kalam (just before his tenure as the President) took charge. An apt day for the 'Annual All Cluster' meet where the science and technology clusters of the PSA Office meet under the Chairmanship of the Honourable PSA to GoI, Prof. Ajay Sood, and the guidance of Honourable Scientific Secretary, Office of PSA to GoI, Dr (Mrs.) Parvinder Maini Maini, to showcase their achievements and brainstorm on future plans.
Technology compendia on various themes were also launched, including the one on 'Clean Energy Transition & Environmental Sustainability' where DRIIV has been the nodal cluster. More updates to follow from the 2 day meet so watch the space!

#DRIIV Event Recap : From Insights to Impact!

The roundtable ‘Transforming Plastic: smart management for a greener future’ flagged off with inspiring words from our Hon’ble Chief Guest, Dr (Mrs.) Parvinder Maini, Scientific Secretary, O/o PSA to the GoI and respected Counsellor Casper Mayland, #RoyalDanishEmbassyinNewDelhi and concluded with clear-cut deliverables directly from the public sector. @vandana__rao, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, #MunicipalCorporationofDelhi, outlined seven critical challenges in managing Delhi's plastic waste. She also invited suggestions and solutions from the Indo-Danish delegates for tackling these pressing issues:
1.Contribution of the informal sectors in generating plastic
2. Cost-effective decentralized solutions
3. Need for international benchmarks to improve plastic waste processing.
4. Waste composition analysis for tailored strategies
5. Increasing plastic waste circularity with a focus on advanced technologies for waste-to-energy solutions in legacy waste management
6. Exploring new ideas for high-value products like biofuels from MLPs

In a pivotal step towards mobilising private capital for innovation, #MASHAAL, the 'Green Fellowship Program' and a joint venture with #M3MFoundation, was unveiled during the event, which offers financial support to innovators in the area of Clean Energy Transition and Environmental Sustainability.

With industry, academia, and government bodies aligned, DRIIV is set to drive sustainable change through meaningful public-private partnerships and transnational collaborations.
