@JoeEcker, @ecallaway, Margarita Behrens, and team have produced the most detailed atlas ever of the diversity and connections of neurons in the mouse brain 🧠 Their work is featured in a 10 paper BRAIN Initiative package in @Nature#BICCN#studyBRAIN

ResearchGPT is a custom GPT especially designed for researchers.
It has a database of 282 million research articles and it answers your questions with references to published articles.
No fake citations.
Here's how to use it:
It's finally out in Nature Biotechnology. https://t.co/QOSfBNSxuI We developed single cell m6A RNA modification mapping technology for studying m6A in vivo in single cells and scarce cell types without specialized laboratory equipment.
New preprint from Wynshaw-Boris lab, Carried out by our excellent postdoc Luke Bury and me😀, see link👉

Applying this lineage tracing in an isogenic pair of autistic iPSC allowed us to identify that an autism spectrum disorder-specific CTNNB1 stop-gain variant led to altered lineage-specific neuronal production and transcriptional differences.(4/5)
A new study suggests that in addition to exploring the effects of known autism-linked mutations, researchers should assess the potential mediating effects of the rest of a person’s genome. How will you use this insight in your research?

We uncovered that the PTEN p.Ile135Leu variant, found in an ASD-affected individual with macrocephaly, dysregulated cortical neurogenesis in an ASD-genetic-background-dependent fashion by using 2D neural progenitor cells and 3D cortical organoids.
