When the similarities are obvious, weโre overconfident. Sometimes to the point of delusion.
And this means weโre less likely to question our assumptions.
Watch out for this!
Only when we ask those people do we discover that whatโs obvious to us isnโt obvious to them.
Same goes for our ability to understand the people close to us.
We think we โgetโ someone who lives in our city, shares our gender, falls in our age group.

The LinkedIn of 2016 was just a dumpster of resumes and humble brags about 30 under 30.
To gain (and keep) customer buy in, always revisit the question:
โWhat's the ACTUAL value here?โ
positioning should always be top of mind as you build, break, and revise your product.
It WILL change over time.
