Super excited to share my recent publication in @ScienceAdvances. Our paper explores how dendritic tip dynamics & branching shape complex and highly variable neuronal morphologies of Drosophila Class IV neurons.

William C. Sessa & team @YaleMed report that loss of the liver protein NgBR drives fat buildup, inflammation, and rapid liver cancer in obese mice—and blocking fat synthesis pharmacologically prevented obesity-induced HCC.
The figure shows DGAT2 inhibitor treatment prevents diet-induced MASLD-HCC pathogenesis.

More than delighted 😀. Our work was highlighted in @YaleMed article.
Thanks @IzzyBackman for this wonderful article describing our work published in @ScienceAdvances https://t.co/6BWUGF6CA7
When the brain develops, the nervous system branches out in a beautifully intricate, yet poorly understood, way that allows neurons to send messages throughout the body. Now, researchers have found the mechanism behind this growth

#postdocposition in Sharan lab @NIH @NCIResearchCtr, Interested in classifying BRCA2 genetic variants using a high throughput CRISPR-based saturation genome editing. Computational background with knowledge in NGS data analysis is desirable. Feel free to DM to know more. Plz RT.
We're hiring! Two postdoctoral positions available. Join our awesome, supportive team; develop innovative assays to discover how the cellular environment supports and regulates protein folding and disorder; learn what goes wrong when mutations happen. DM (or email) me. Please RT!
Congratulations, Tian-Ming Fu @futianming, aka Master of the #MOSAIC at Janelia!!! From July 1 on, he is an Assistant Professor at Princeton 🥳 Goodbye, @HHMIJanelia! And, hello, @Princeton! And guess what? He is looking for postdocs & graduate students 👉 https://t.co/h2MOhQ2Jer
@ShuolunW@ScienceAdvances There are papers that consider the branching morphogenesis process as branching annihilation random walk ( Hannezo et Al . 2017). Members in our lab are also working on a mean field model to explain the morphogenesis process.
