@jamesdcarpenter@barbylon @Neal148409276 @DrPhiltill Yes, multiple tests were performed on instruments and electronics into sand (lunar analog) and ice (simulating Europa). We can measure the mechanical properties of soil in lunar craters during the landing event, and a mass spectrometer to measure volatiles released. Ground truth!
