I know I'm old, but when did it become acceptable for parents to use a ferry as a creche, let their children run around screaming and disturbing other passengers, while the parents sat somewhere separate. I feel for the @IslandsUnlimit crew who have to clear up the mess

I hope that this promotion increases the amount of travel and profits by more than the discounts. Otherwise tax payers will be subsidising those who can afford to fly

@pvbsc1 So if I've read this correctly. There has been an increase of 144FTE of which 30 are in HR to cope with the increase. So 30FTE HR required to cope with 114 other FTE. So 1 HR to every <4 employees.
No wonder we're short of money.

@advocategreen1 @RossLeBrun Yes he won the race that was set and becomes a legitimate deputy. But where over 82% showed their dissatisfaction, 2% of votes were spoilt papers which was greater than 2 candidates that campaigned. Its not a high bar.

Tomorrow is Guernseys by election. We've more choice (people standing/seat) than the election last year. But I can't find 1 to vote for. Looks like "None of the above" on the ballot paper.
