Personally what I find the most alarming about the Sony No Disc controversy is just who and how many industry leaders in news/media are fighting to damage control for Sony.

What are the 7 games?

Of the 7 games, did they ALL just break just slightly over 100k? sell over a million? What are the exact numbers?

How many digital releases that coincided with physical releases sold over 100k this year?

And lets be honest with ourselves, how many notable games released on the PS5 this year?

In its current state its frankly poor reporting. Which makes the subheadline "Case Closed" in the article kind of humorous.

- Data is US Only
- 100K is the low end, titles like Resident Evil Requiem sold more than that physically
- Physical has been selling less than digital for awhile now, that doesnt mean we should accept less consumer rights

The resistance against Sony's attack on physical media continues under every Sony/PlayStation post. Love to see it! However, this also hits game announcements. Don't forget to show these hard-working devs some love on other consoles. It's not their fault that Sony hates games.
