Following the Telangana Government's extension of the ban on the production, storage and sale of #mayonnaise prepared from raw eggs under Section 30(2)(a) of the Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006, the Telangana Food Safety Department conducted a statewide #specialenforcementdrive to ensure strict compliance.

131 food establishments inspected.

5 establishments found violating the prohibition.

10 kg of mayonnaise prepared using #eggs/#brokeneggs destroyed on the spot.

Adjudication proceedings initiated against the violators.

The Telangana Food Safety Department remains committed to safeguarding public health through stringent enforcement of food safety regulations.
