@wesstreeting Calculate cost of lost productivity when a doctor needs to log in to a 15 yr old computer and it takes 10 mins per time, multiply it by 10x per day… then invest some of the cost of that lost productivity into new and efficient IT for us.

Jeremy Hunt announces £3.4bn plan to modernise NHS's I.T. system.

So, £3.4 billion is about to be spent, not one doctor, nurse or bed added. No pay disputes settled.

Out there is an I.T. firm rubbing their hands.

@thatsnotmine125 No one is being paid for a 50 hour week. The max allowed is 48 hours a week average on the work schedule. In addition, our pensions are only paid on 40 hours, any additional rostered hours are non pensionable. All work done should be pensionable
