Teams that are coming back into pre season now, slowly reintroduce yourselves to activity even if you were active over the break
Warm weather & jumping hard into pre season can have negative implications. Have fun as a team for the first few sessions & slowly increase intensity

No point in getting an underage athletes to do a food diary, just to tell them what’s wrong. Most don’t control or even have a say of what food comes into the house.
Educating players & parents on nutrition is the way, if we want to make positive change. Most aren’t taught it
One of the biggest positive lessons I learnt while working with a coaching company is to try speak to each player at some stage during the session. That starts as soon as the first player enters the pitch & ends when the last one leaves .

Fear is easy to instill. Trust is much harder to build.
That's why so many result to fear, power, and control to lead. It's cheap, easy, and takes little knowledge.
Don't choose the cheap and easy path. Do the work to create genuine trust and belonging.
@YorkStrength17 I have never understood negative reinforcement.Say if you miss a certain amount of shots in training, you get a punishment, then have another round where your technical performance is supposed to get better cause of fear instead of actually learning to execute the skill better🤷♂️
Love this! A leader isn’t someone who does everything themselves but is someone who creates an atmosphere where everyone’s strengths come together to achieve their goal!
