Dive To Disney Megathread
The purpose of this thread is to compile well researched and founded comparisons of Disney, and some of the Final Fantasy elements of Kingdom Hearts, to discover the underlying secrets they reveal about the plot.
"When is Kingdom Hearts 4 coming out? I wanna know...I have the RIGHT to know!"
"A Kingdom Hearts fan doesn't have a right to know. Nor does it even have the right to BE."
"Long story short, the world's in trouble, and has been for a while."
Take your first look at Final Fantasy VII Revelation, launching simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store and Steam in Spring 2027.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the thrilling conclusion of the FFVII Remake Series, launches simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store and Steam in Spring 2027.
Somewhere along the way the KH community became a contest of who can shitpost the hardest.
And honestly I long for the days when UnionX ended, and people were more interested in discussing ideas.
Side characters don’t have to be. Lead characters should be attractive and thrilling. Designing attractive characters is a very important thing for a game’s appeal.
There’s a reason why we Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy fans dick ride Nomura. It’s because at this point he’s on record explaining exactly why he always makes his lead characters attractive.

Sir you insulted me first by calling me part of the problem. Don’t be surprised that I respond in kind.
These developers are not owed viewership.
Most people who were in it for KH4 have been showing up every time for the past, what 4 years while giving the new stuff at least a chance. Big IPs carry the show, that’s a given. But if every time we show up there’s nothing that really stands out, then you can’t be surprised when we stop showing up.
The best thing a new dev can do is establish a simple new IP on mobile or hand-held by creating something with a unique and stylish gameplay loop. Once brand recognition is locked in, then maybe they will stand out in a console showcase.
But running literally action films made into pseudo-games is not the tea. They’re jumping into the big leagues when they haven’t even learned how to walk.
@Zojalyx@KHMLTomorrow “Part of the problem”. What are you, 5?
I don’t make the games, the do. It’s their job to make me interested.
The problem is they’re selling action movies dressed as games, and not games dressed as action movies.
The only game that was remotely interesting in the showcase was that Yokai game which will probably struggle to carve out a niche as a new IP. And we got a God of War debacle out of it. Really it was better off not watching.
The problem is, these new IPs just jump into trying to tell some corny ass action movie plot.
Instead maybe they should try making a “game” first, and grow the IP because the gameplay loop is fun.
KH4 and GTA6 are highly in demand, and it’s because they have a functional gameplay legacy. Literally there are no other “games” than the ones that are highly anticipated.
