@hello_mmmmmm High growth. High inflation. High yields. It doesn’t have to end in either a recession or a soft landing. You just have to live with. The Fed doesn’t seem ready to accept that either.
PRESIDENT TRUMP SAYS HE TOLD FED CHAIR KEVIN WARSH TO "VOTE WITH THE BOARD" ON TODAY'S RATE HIKE BECAUSE "IT'S NOT GOING TO MATTER" 🇺🇸
Asked if he still has confidence in Warsh, Trump said yes, then went after the rest of the Fed.
"He's got a very tough board. He's got a board that was put there by a lot of other people. And the interest rates are too high. They're not appropriate."
"The board is very hostile. They're very political. They're doing the wrong thing."
"We should be paying the lowest interest rates anywhere in the world because we have the strongest credit."
He also said the US could eliminate its deficits "with a swipe of a pen with every country" and make $1.5 trillion a year doing it, but "we haven't chosen to do that."
