🟦 Youth Voices 🤌Young people who are part of the Youth Bus 🚍continue to speak up, emphasizing that inclusion of youth in all facets of development is a key driver for the progress of the African continent.

➡️ Their voices reflect the urgency and importance of empowering youth as active participants in shaping the future of Africa.

Below are some direct voices from young people:

1⃣"A nation that invests in youth leadership invests in its own stability, growth, and future prosperity. We are tired of roaming around other continents looking for opportunities."

2⃣"Across Africa, empowering young people with the skills, opportunities, and platforms to lead is essential for building resilient, inclusive, and sustainable societies. We need that more than ever."

3⃣"There is a need to nurture the next generation of leaders. We, the youth, foster innovation, drive social change, and strengthen the unity and development of our continent. It is inspiring to be here learning, and we must carry this momentum forward as we grow older."

4⃣"Investing in youth is not just a moral obligation; it is a strategic imperative for Africa’s enduring progress. Together, let us commit to empowering our youth because their leadership is the key to unlocking Africa’s full potential."

➡️Stay tuned for more youth voices. At WELEAD Africa, we are committed to providing conducive environments where young people can express themselves, lead, and shape the future of Africa.

🟦 Young people want more space to lead, including having at least 30% of Members of Parliament by the next election. They also want to be treated equally and without discrimination based on age.

Join the Youth Bus and be part of the movement, stand with young people as they advocate for youth rights and meaningful participation in decision-making processes.

The young people we have been engaging with continue to share a common message: Youth-friendly reforms are urgently needed in Zimbabwe to create a fairer, more inclusive future for all.
