Software engineer, former gamedev. Sometimes streams on Youtube (he/him). Encouraging everyone to migrate to the same place (Mastodon) so we don't fragment.
Staying to watch the trainwreck isn't good enough any more. The recent journalism and public data bans are an atrocious abuse of personal power. I won't even be browsing here any more - please join another service like Mastodon instead.
@therooktheraven Just a heads up: your accountant is wrong - closed companies can issue refunds, and are still legally liable for outstanding debts. You should get a second opinion, because as it is now you can still be sued and pursued for debt collection.
@therooktheraven@MaxGrizzleTins When do you plan on communicating with outstanding orders? I have one still waiting from 2018, you're almost four years late now and your comms have been awful, even to the point of ignoring email queries now.
@Menulog Driver didn't deliver food but marked it as delivered, and now there's not even any chat support even though it's supposed to be in your operating hours? You guys have absolutely terrible support.
It's weird seeing pastors and devoted Christians tweeting that the 4th of July, US flag, etc. don't belong in churches, but not having the same objection when their religious beliefs interfere with the laws of the state. Separation of church and state goes both ways.
@moviedle Have you changed the share behaviour recently? As of today, instead of being able to copy the results of Moviedle and Posterdle to clipboard I get this popup instead (Win11). I really just want the clipboard copy.
@getQualifiedxyz @mtgDAO@Wizards Calling web3 a tsunami is more appropriate than you realise. Environmentally and financially destructive, unwanted by anyone with sense, and gone in a relatively short time.
@DrHLShearer @abcnews It's gross that the article spends 90% of its words on the breathless enthusiasm of the oblivious victims of these scams, with barely a footnote at the end of "oh also some people say it's a scam though". To be clear: It is 100% a scam. There is 0% redeeming value.
@CBHeresy@DrAbramL@irceeyore@michaelharriot The paper you cited states 31.4% of felony convictions are for drug offenses as their most serious offense. Possession alone makes up 12.5%.
Unsubscribed from @acloudguru (now under @pluralsight), 25 marketing emails in the last two months is just excessive. Linux Academy at least had the respect to send one a month (or less).
There's such thing as too much. Feels like you turned the brand into a spam factory.
@GLComputing@Reasonableques3@NSWHealth The problem with the protest is the types of idiots who attended are unlikely to check in anywhere or be honest on tracing interviews, so the only real way for tracers to link back to the protest is via police records of arrests. Makes it very difficult to identify the cluster.
@GLComputing@Reasonableques3@NSWHealth It'll be hard to correlate numbers in the next 2 weeks with organic spread rates when there was a superspreader protest event a few days ago much more likely to be responsible. Hard to hear if a car sound is approaching or receding when a truck is blasting its horn next to you.
@LarryIdea@19Matt72@Dinosaur281@NSWHealth Yes, that's right. Originally I wrote a longer message where I'd said "demonstrated with reasonable probability" instead of "proven" but the whole tweet overran length and got cut down, and lost meaning in the process. I didn't revisit it, thanks for the correction.
