@duaduauk @Doozykins @Headteacherchat Surely though you could argue teachers can get to a point where they repeat what they're presenting. Surgeons also very much don't have the opportunity to go to the toilet at will, as is being mentioned repeatedly. Also surgery has multiple known and unknown variables.

@StickyNicky82 @joel120193 Yes I think this is when there needs to be more transparency in how the word staff is being used. Does this mean all staff or teaching staff only? It is sometimes used interchangeably. All support staff would like access to medical appointments to for example not just teaching.

@JoffreWhite Sch librarians occupy a strange place between teaching & admin staff, often ignored & unrecognised by both groups. However, you are rarely ignored by the students who will remember years later how you helped them - to become readers, find info, listened & offered a safe space
